Sophisticated Seaside Wedding at Longboat Key Club

Christine and Brendan’s sophisticated seaside wedding at Longboat Key Club took place in January 2023 at the popular Florida Opal Collection Resort. Luxurious details, mixed with the Florida coastline made for a modern tropical wedding soiree that felt fanciful!

 

 

Pre-Wedding Sophisticated Details

Christine and Brendan’s sophisticated seaside wedding at Longboat Key Club was low-key vibe with exquisite elements, which made the day special and intimate.  Brendan enjoyed time with family and friends on Longboat Key Club’s beautiful grounds. Additionally, other pre-ceremony quiet moments included Christine indulging in celebratory champagne toasts with her bridesmaids during their glam sessions, while the little ones in the wedding party opened gifts.

 

 

A Longboat Key Club Wedding Ceremony

Beach ceremony ready, Christine wore a beautifully beaded corset wedding dress with bejeweled sandals. Brendan wore dark white button-up with chinos. Christine’s first look with her father took place as the sun began to set and they made their way to their walk to Longboat Key Club’s South Beach ceremony site.

Guests were greeted with a shoe valet before heading to the sandy ceremony, which was enclosed with a white arch with white roses, which framed the horizon behind the bride and groom. After their Longboat Key beach ceremony concluded, Christine and Brendan enjoyed photos with their friends and family. A wedding day favorite was the phenomenal group shot with all 84 of their wedding guests for this sophisticated seaside wedding at Longboat Key Club. Sunset photos followed for the newlyweds before being introduced at their outdoor wedding reception.

 

 

 

Sparkling Longboat Key Club Wedding Reception

Spike ‘n’ Tees outdoor patio at Longboat Key Club was the setting for the newlywed’s first dance and dinner as husband and wife. Chinese lanterns glimmered above, gold and salmon hues sparkled under Complete’s uplighting which framed the reception space! Wedding reception tables named after destinations the bride and groom visited included signage with details  and special memories from each destination.

Wedding guests were treated to wedding cake and an ice cream bar with plenty of sweet toppings to choose from!  The newlywed shoe game was a hilarious and fun wedding reception highlight, yet everyone truly came to get down on the dance floor! Complete Weddings + Events’ Sarasota wedding DJ made sure their reception music met the good vibes check! This sophisticated seaside wedding at Longboat Key Club had it all: elegance, romance, and fun!
